Policy Overview
At The Book House, we try our best to provide accurate medical books, safe packing, and reliable delivery. Because medical and educational books are academic products, returns and refunds are handled after proper verification of the issue.
Return Eligibility
A return or replacement request may be accepted if you received the wrong book, damaged book, missing item, duplicate item, printing issue, wrong edition, or a product different from the confirmed order.
Non-Returnable Items
Books cannot be returned if they are used, highlighted, written on, torn after delivery, damaged by the customer, ordered by mistake, or returned without original packing and order proof.
Refund Approval Process
Refunds are not issued instantly. First, our team verifies your complaint, order record, parcel condition, book condition, and proof shared by the customer. After approval, a refund, replacement, exchange, or store credit may be offered.
Damaged or Wrong Book Received
If your book is damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery. Share clear pictures of the parcel, book cover, invoice/order details, and issue. Without proof, claims may not be accepted.
Order Cancellation
Orders can be cancelled before dispatch. Once an order has been shipped, cancellation may not be possible. If the parcel is already with the courier, delivery charges or return courier charges may apply.
Customer Responsibilities
Customers must provide correct order details, contact number, delivery address, parcel images, and complaint proof. The book must remain unused and properly packed until the issue is resolved.
